Scott Myklebust
Founding Principal and Design Director

Scott Myklebust is the founding principal and design director of M CO Design. With over 17 years of international experience designing large scale mixed-use, entertainment, and hospitality projects worldwide, Scott launched his practice in 2005 with a commitment to design excellence and quality that combines great business principles and a collaborative, hands-on design approach.

Scott has spent the last decade focusing on work in China and Asia, and is currently designing multiple projects in China, for both Hong Kong and mainland Chinese-based clients.

Prior to M CO Design, Scott partnered with Richard Orne in 1997 to found Orne+Associates (O+A). Together they launched a successful practice that encompassed urban mixed-use and master planning projects worldwide. Prior to O+A, Scott was a senior designer with The Jerde Partnership (1994 - 1997), a leader in urban design and planning, where he acquired considerable experience on projects that include Steve Wynn's Bellagio Resort Casino in Las Vegas, and the 600-acre Baha Mar project in Nassau, Bahamas.

Scott received a Bachelor of Environmental Design, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
